Get paid to talk with a friend.

Recorded video conversations on Fiber, oto's app. Talk with someone you know, or get matched with another participant.

How it works

  • Talk with a friend, family member or partner whenever you are both free. Each of you joins from your own room.
  • No one to invite? Join the daily window, 5:00 to 6:00 PM (PDT), and oto matches you with another participant. The window runs from October 6 to December 31, 2026. Recording time is not guaranteed.
  • Each conversation is 10 minutes and follows a prompt shown in the app, in your own words.
  • Get paid through Stripe for eligible recorded time.
